Newly Released Healthcare Paper Underscores Importance of Technology, Innovations & Consumer Access November 7, 2011

I have posted my most recent entry for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's HealthFlock blog. Entitled "Newly Released Healthcare Paper Underscores Importance of Technology, Innovations & Consumer Access and Participation," I discuss Jane Sarasohn-Kahn's recent paper on the millions of new patients who will soon be entering a healthcare system lacking enough primary care physicians to care for everyone.
Sarasohn-Kahn discusses ways in which our healthcare system will have to adjust in order to accomodate the many individuals requiring care, including "leveraging technology" and "expanding touchpoints." This is at the heart of what SoloHealth aims to do with our easily-accessible, fully-networked healthcare kiosks, and it is exciting to think about the potential benefits we can contribute to the healthcare system with the model we provide.
